Promises galore as AAP, Congress, BJP realease manifestos

As the Delhi Assembly Elections comes knocking at the door the political parties — Congress, BJP and the Aam Admi Party — released their election manifestos on the same day, to win over the electorates in Delhi. All the three vision documents, have imparted prime importance to woman security, water scarcity and inordinately high prices of electricity in Delhi.

Below are the salient features from the vision document made public, by the three competing political forces in the capitol.

 

Congress Bharatiya Janata party Aam Admi Party
1) Financial assistance of

Rs.50000, will be provided

to under graduate women from

the economically weaker sections.
1) If elected the BJP government

would establish 15 new colleges

and a university in collaboration

with one of world’s leading

university, and also an online

university.
1) Once elected, the AAP

government would enact a

Lokpal Bill, in tune will the

features of Jan Lokpal Bill

envisaged by Anna Hazare

led India Against Corruption,

within 15 days of coming to

power. All public officials,

including the CM will come

under the purview of the

Lokpal bill.
2) Child friendly courts will be

established for fast track trail of

child abuse cases.
2) Delhi Women Protection Force

will be created to enhance women

security in delhi. this will also

generate employment.
2) Any public official found guilty

of corruption will be sent to jail

and dissmissed from service.

the property of the concerned

officials will also be confiscated.
3) Congress would establish 20

women toilets in each of the

70 constituencies.
3) Salient features of the UN Green

new deal projects will be adopted,

which will help generate

employment, without harming the

environment.
3) The government will pay funds

to the Moholla(area) Sabhas to

conduct development works in

their respective areas.The moholla

Sabhas will decide how, where

and when to disburse the funds.
4) Private schools will be given an

option to operate a second shift,

to accommodate more students.
4) Citizens Grievance Cell will be

created, which will be directly

under the chief minister’s office.
4) CCTV cameras will be

installed in police stations to

ensure that FIRS get registered.

5) Diagonostic services department

would operate in government

hospitals all through the day
5) Skill Development Institute will

provide merit based scholarships

worth Rs 25000, to the educated

unemployed.
5) Citizens Security Force will be

created in every ward to provide

security to the people in distress,

with special focus on women and

children.
